long post

Josh has been working lots of hours and Gavin and I miss him dearly. He sure does what's best for his family. He's the hardest worker I know, well, besides my dad. Gavin and I both appreciate it so much but it does get lonely some nights. Thankfully it's only twice a week.

This past weekend was extremely busy to say the least. Gavin didn't have a nap at home all weekend. It was either while driving somewhere or wherever we were at the time.
Saturday was his counsin Kenzie's 5th birthday party up in Yorktown. We went to Kenzie's soccer game that morning. It was a bit chilly and sprinkled a little, but it was so much fun to watch 4-6 year olds play soccer. Some would go the wrong way, but the cutest thing to see....leave it to Kenzie. She's on the sidelines blowing kisses while running to her Gavin. It was sooo cute. She loves him to death. I wish I would have gotten more pic's of the actual party, but I had my hands full taking care of Gavin.

This is during her soccer game. Every break she got, she was right next to him.

Not sure if it was being out in the chilly weather or being around his cousin Kemper who had a running nose. But I think Gavin has his first cold. His nose won't stop running. I even have to use the nose plunger thingy in the middle of the night...poor guy.

Kenzie and Eli got a beautiful swingset and Uncle Jason put the baby swing up. Can you tell Gavin just loved it! He even pumped his legs back and forth.

Our rotty Jade has to be wherever Gavin is...always by his side. She lays on his blankets and Gavin is so fascinated by her big paws.

As you can see, Gavin wanted to eat the grass. He just loves the way it feels between his fingers and toes.

Gavin eating Dada's sweatshirt. It's so cute to hear him say Dada over and over and over. I know it just melts Josh's heart. He said this past weekend that he's the cutest boy and has the cutest laugh.

Sunday we went to the Morgantown parade. That's where my sister Kendra lives. It was lots of fun and Gavin really enjoyed himself. These are picutres of my nephew Evan. I don't think he blinked the whole parade. He loves the fire trucks and he got so much candy!

This coming weekend Josh's grandparents will be in town. I know they just can't wait to see Gavin. They haven't seen him since was first born. Point being, it will be another busy weekend!
