Where do I begin? It's been so long since my last post (well, besides the pictures from the pumpkin patch). These last few weeks have been tough. My dad is now at home recoverying. It's amazing all the prayers and thoughts that went out for him. They truly have been working. I have co-workers that I haven't even met face to face (just work with via email or phone) that were praying for him! So many people have been so kind. But the true angel is the man who found my dad and called 911.

We were able to find out who it was and mom got to speak to him on the phone. This man, lets just call him 'angel', was on his way to work that morning and saw something in the middle of the road. He also said he saw a headlight in the grass, so began to slow down. As he slowed down, mom said his exact words were, "Oh, lord, it's a man, oh lord." He stopped his car and was about to get out, when he noticed another car coming. He parked his car in front of dad to block on-coming traffic. As the angel approached my dad, he was unconscious for about 15 minutes. The angel began talking and praying and my dad soon opened his eyes. By this time, the ambulance had arrived. I thank God everyday for this angel (man).

I love you dad!!!

Then my little guy had to have surgery...yup surgery =( I'll spare the details, but he finally was able to be circumsized. He was a trooper and bounced right back. I was able to get this shot of Gavin...my favorite faces he makes when he smooches his lips like this.

A closer shot of his smooch!

Playing pat-a-cake with Daddy (& of course our dog Jade)

Last Sunday, the Boyce's came over the not so impressive Colts game. Here are a few pics of Isaac and Gavin...

GOD is truly amazing and will ALWAYS stay true to his promises! So although it's tempting to put the emphasis on the angel, isn't it amazing to see that God commands even the angels! I guess this story clearly demonstrates the importance of making God our first priority in life because we truly never know the day we will meet him and give an account for our life on earth ~ great reminder to know God more and more every day. He truly means it when he says to love him with our whole heart! Love ~ The Griggs
